Working at Stayner Camp in the Summer

    Positions and Forms for Stayner

Stayner hires casual workers from our community to staff our retreat season September through May with options of working full time through the summer.  Kitchen staff must have some experience and be willing to serve our retreat community many weekends a year.

Stayner is a busy camp in the summer months.  Our own youth camp programs, family camp, retreat groups and event rentals.  We require staff in many areas to accomplish the many tasks before us.  If Stayner is in your sights, contact the on-site Operations Director, Dan Chester, to inquire about available positions. Email Dan.

The Stayner Staff Application is here.

The reference form is here.  It is fillable and can be sent by email to your references.

Stayner and Mishewah both rely heavily on volunteers who commit to a week of ministry.  All of our workers are 'on mission' and are summer missionaries at Stayner or Mishewah.  ARE YOU READY FOR LEADERSHIP?

Heroes on the Move and TOP Camp

DAY CAMP OPTION:  Our very popular day camp programming will resume this summer! Day Camps run from 9am - 4:30pm both weeks. Every day is busy, moving from one activity to the next, with a lunch break in the middle, of course!  BUT THERE'S MORE...

Campers doing the overnight HOTM TOP option will arrive at camp a day early for move-in, dinner and an outrageous Sunday night event. After breakfast each day, overnighters will merge with the Day Camp program (9am - 4:30pm).

At 4:30pm, the overnighter community will pick up again with dinner and its own special evening events.

Cabin Leaders and HOTM huddle coaches are on the front line of ministry with campers.  You are a caring person who desires to see each camper learn of Jesus and accept him as their Lord.  You are an example for a young child to follow. You have energy and are committed to being fully present every day as the leader of your group of campers.

We have prepared an application package for those desiring to serve at our overnight camp.  We do ask that you read all the information carefully and prayerfully prepare your answers.  Cabin Leaders are contacted once all the paperwork is received by the youth camp directors.

    1. The completion of the application form and thoughtful answers.
    2. The results of three references.
    3. A Personal interview should you be contacted for one.
    4. Vulnerable Sector and Police Clearance Check.
